Microregion KOSÍŘSKO

Welcome to the official KOSÍŘSKO Microregion web site. This region extends over picturesque countryside of the golden grains and fertile fields of blessed Haná. The Microregion is situated less than 10 kilometres South-west of the regional capital, Olomouc. It was established in 1999 by an agreement of mutual cooperation between the municipalities of Lutín, Drahanovice, Těšetice, Hněvotín, Slatinice, Ústín, Luběnice and Slatinky. In 2006 the municipality of Olšany near Prostějov joined them. With 11,500 inhabitants it belongs to the smaller regions of Olomouc region (Olomoucký kraj), however, it can offer many cultural and natural sights as well as folk traditions and customs to all visitors.
In addition to the beautiful countryside and hospitable people you will encounter the traditional Haná dialect here too.
